![]() ![]() The BIOS itself has some BMC settings as well that are not editable. There is a "BMC configuration" option after POST and before the drive controller and ethernet option roms, but it always says that the firmware is in the state of "updating". The manual does not clarify which models have what. There's no slot for a controller and Tyan's page hints at it having IPMI. Shortly after getting the board it became unclear as to whether this specific model had IPMI or not. ![]() At least we're not tossing the chassis themselves. It's been in production for a few months and we're happy with it - part of a sort of server recycling plan we're playing with where we take old Supermicro 1U chassis that had P4 or P4-era Xeons in them and rip out the board and PSU (and in some cases the drives, swapping an SATA backplane for SCSI). I've got a weird problem with this Tyan board (full model # is S7002GNR-LE). ![]()
